Vectra 3D Imaging


Vectra 3D imaging has revolutionized the way plastic surgeons perform a consultation.  Moving beyond traditional photography to a 3-dimensional view allows you and your surgeon to get an extremely accurate picture of the expected results that can be achieved.  With this technology, we can see the expected results from multiple angles, as if you were looking at them in person or in the mirror.

To describe your procedure and help you truly understand the results, this tool is incredibly useful.  For plastic and reconstructive surgeons around the country, this system has dramatically improved pre-procedure planning and analysis.

Vectra is excellent for planning breast surgery and especially useful for breast augmentation.  After capturing 6 photos simultaneously, the computer creates a 3D image that can be rotated and viewed from above or below.  With up-to-date information on breast implant sizes and shapes, the Vectra system visually approximates the appearance changes you can expect after your breast augmentation.

These images can be compared and rotated in multiple directions to understand the results with the utmost precision.  We can even overlay a “ghost image” of the expected outcome over your first photo to understand the changes in breast shape and breast volume.


In many cases, it is difficult for patients considering rhinoplasty to understand the expected outcome. Fortunately, planning and approximating the results with the Vectra system has made this much easier.
